Speaker 1:

Welcome to today's program. The beauty of grace I'm pastor Pete Norris of harvest fellowship, church, Goldsboro, North Carolina. And I want to talk to you today, is that all happened before the foundation of the world. Now that's a wonderful revelation. If we can get ahold of that, that everything happened before the foundation of the world in John chapter 17, verse five and now, Oh, father glorify me together with yourself, with the glory which I had with you before the world was, and look at John 17:24 father. I desire that they also, whom you gave me may be with me where I am, that they may be holding my glory, which you've given me for. You love me before the foundation of the world. So we see that Christ was ordained before the foundation of the world. Now look at first Peter chapter one, verse 20, he indeed was fore ordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in the last days for you. So we see that Jesus was ordained before the foundation of world, but was manifest in the last days for you. And for me now that's a wonderful revelation, but look at revelation 13 and eight, all who dwell on the earth and will, and will worship him, whose names have been, have not been written in the book of lamb. A lamb was slain before the foundation of the world. So it doesn't say before the foundation, but before the foundation of the world, he says he was slaying. Then surely it means that the cross wasn't event taking place both in time and eternity in time, in the long past in eternity and forever occurs. Now that helps you understand in the beginning, the Hebrew word by Bereshit in Genesis one and one, and the Hebrew language, breaking it up into the pitcher graph, and then translating those. We get the son of God offered his life on the cross. Now let's read Genesis chapter one, verse one and two in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the waters and the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Now I want you to see something here in verse two, the word water in the Hebrew means seas. The Holy spirit was hovering over the waters of the pure womb of Mary. So we see in Genesis one and two is the blueprint of God's plan of salvation, Jesus crucifixion, and the motherhood of Mary Mary were both present before the foundation of time. That's why mary was the highest creature after Jesus humanity because they already existed in eternity. The first Adam had to be created because the last Adam had already died for him. Christwas loved by the father for the foundation of the world. Is that not remarkable? And just reading Genesis one in one and two, we recognize that we're seeing a whole translation of the son of a God who offered his life on the cross, just out of one script, two scripture, shall we read? And we get all this revelation. So the Holy spirit was hovering over the waters of the pure womb of Mary. So in the beginning before the foundation world, Jesus was already promised. Now look at Ephesians chapter one, verse four, according as he has chosen us in him before foundation of the world, that we should be Holy and without blame before him in love. Now look at Ephesians one in six to the praise of the glory of his grace, where, and he had made us accepted in the beloved. I look at Ephesians two and six and he have raised us up together, made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Now, is that not amazing that you and I was ordained before the foundation of the world to walk in the perfect knowledge of God, come to the revelation of who we are in Christ and understand the glory of his wonderful presence. So, as I began to see this and I began to understand this, and I began to see what the plan was before the foundation world, I began to get a little bit of a revelation and the revelation come that as you know, that as we read the scriptures, that the shortest chapter in the Bible is Psalms 117. The longest chapter in the Bible is Psalms 119 th ey're 5 94 chapters before Psalms 118 there's 594 chapters before. So wa s four Psalms after Psalms 118, that adds up to 1,18 8 cha pters. The center verse in the Bible is Psalms 118 and eight. And it says this. It is the better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. Now, is that not remarkable? I want you to get ahold of that. There's 594 chapters in the Bible from Genesis one to Psalms 118 there's 594 chapters after Psalms 118 t wo t o revelation. 22 adds up to 1,188 chapters. Is that not w ild? And then the center verse in the entire Bible is Psalms 118 and eight, 1188. Exactly how many chapters in the Bible. It's better to trust in the Lord th an t o p ut your confidence in man. Now we understand that all this happened before the foundation of the world, you and I were chosen before the foundation world, God promised eternal life before the foundation of the world. It a ll be gin b efore time began because we were not, we were called out of time. And, and the wonderful thing about that is we begin to study this in revelation being as to come and pour into our lives. We begin to understand that we're walking in the righteousness of God. And this is the beauty of grace you were promised and sent before you were actually sent, because he knew you before you ever mother and daddy ever got together. And he called you and he ordained you. And he sent you for such a purpose as is your destiny has a plan. You got a purpose and it is good. That is the beauty of grace.
